Day 11- It's not you... It's me....

I need to beg the forgiveness of the Whole30 peeps..... I woke up this morning VERY pissed.  I worked out yesterday and it was HARD.  Like very hard.  Yes I took a break from working out but I felt utterly fatigued.  And then this morning my muscles were even more weak, the muscles I worked really hurt and just felt like crap..... I am eating 100% paleo, zero sugar, zero refined crap, cleaner than ever- shouldn't I feel AMAZING!?  Well..... I have the flu..... and my period came early!  HA!  Ok so maybe it's not the program after all......  I will keep with it and see what happens. 

I had a busy busy day in the kitchen, made some more coconut chips, homemade ketchup and Whole30ied my favourite Shepherds Pie recipe with the help of the Well Fed cookbook.  And I have been sipping nice warm mugs of bone broth trying to keep my energy up and this flu at bay.  I really hope tonight to make some more banana bread because I am sick and want comfort food and Mike is out Thursday nights.... so it is my night to veg, eat and watch TV.....  and I really want to do that tonight!

Breakfast:  Eggs and kale, 1 roasted sweet potato, 1/3 a banana (Thank your for sharing Nate...) coffee and coconut milk

Lunch:  chicken breast, salad, some leftover roasted broccoli, a pear, some coconut chips for a snack

Dinner:  Shepherd pie- with a cauli/sweet potato topping, big heap of green beans with ghee

Snack: lots of water, 2 mugs bone broth, another coffee *hopefully banana bread!*

I'm glad there was a rational explanation for the extreme crap-feeling, but I'm NOT glad you have the flu! Keep at that bone broth!

Also, sincerely hope you got that banana bread. :)
